Birdwatching for Beginners

Type: Online Virtual Talk, Demo, Tour, or Performance

Description:
Many new birders took up birdwatching last spring due to COVID-19 safety recommendations, and experienced the joy of migration and the world of birding for the first time. Kristy Taylor, the Michigan State Bird Observatory Education and Outreach Coordinator and President of Capital Area Audubon will help get you started with tips on identifying your backyard birds, places to look for birds during migration, and much more! If you are new to birding and would like to learn more about identifying birds and the tools to help, join us for this-fun-for-all-ages presentation.
