
Circus themed Exercise Support & Social Skills Therapy group class – ongoing, join anytime
Carrie Heller, MSW, LCSW, RPT created and runs the research based Circus Arts Therapy® fitness and play therapy program. Carrie is now holding this Exercise, Support and Social Skills group online for ages 8 -14!
This program combines the learning of developmentally appropriate social skills with the learning of ground based circus arts skills in a safe & fun environment online. Carrie leads the children through a variety of movements, including across-the-midline exercises that are good for beginning readers and writers. This therapy group class utilizes use jump ropes, hula hoops and juggling scarves as well as bean bag balls; all available inexpensively on Amazon. Carrie keeps the children moving the whole time.
It is held Tuesday afternoons, 2:15-2:45pm EDT from Sept 29-Dec 15, but the class is ongoing and you can join anytime.
