Geography “GeoPlunge” Virtual Tournament for Grades 3-8: Level 1
Virtual online U.S. geography tournament played on Zoom and Kahoot! The tournament lasts 4 weeks in 1/2 hour sessions. We provide materials for preparation. It’s easy to learn and it’s free. Level 1 is played on Tuesdays and Level 2 is played on Wednesdays. Choose one level or play both.
Level 1 is played on Tuesdays at 4:00 PM ET: April 13, 20, 27, and May 4
Level 2 is played on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM ET: April 14, 21, 28, and May 5
Registration is required. We recommended attending for all four sessions, but students can join for individual sessions if they want.
Week 1: States in the Eastern Time Zone (we provide charts so players know which states we are dealing with)
Week 2: States in the Central Time Zone
Week 3: States in the west
Week 4: All the states (and we play real geographers)
