Georgia Folk Artists (Virtual Art Workshop)

Join us for this one-time virtual workshop where we’ll learn about what folk art is, and take a dive into five visionary folk artists from the state of Georgia!

We will be meeting for a private online group class via Zoom, for approximately 45 minutes. This class will be in a lecture and discussion format, where we will talk and share images via the computer screen from the comforts of our own homes. Students will need a tablet or computer with Internet access, a microphone, and a camera on it. Smart phones work as well, but are not recommended due to their screen size. An email will be sent out with a Zoom link a minimum of 24 hours in advance to the email used to register. This class is best suited to students 7-13 years old with an interest in art history.

After class, an email will be sent out to parents with related field trip locations and a related coloring page.
