Homeschool Sewing at the Spool School – Thursday afternoons
Thursdays 12:30pm-2pm, 4 Weeks, Join Anytime!
Our sewing classes are designed to be relaxed & fun! We maintain small classes of 6 or less to ensure that all our students get the instruction and attention they need. Kids will take a machine-sewn project home after each class in their first four weeks — a pocket pillow, mask and ear savers, a reversi-purse, and a skirt or shorts. (For boys, we do have alternate projects available.)
As we progress into garment construction and quilting with further classes, some projects may take a few weeks to complete.
If your child needs to miss a class, a makeup can be scheduled within 2 weeks of the missed class.
Masks are encouraged for students and always worn by instructors. High-touch areas are bleached between classes.
Ages 6 and up. All supplies, a rainbow of solid-colored fabrics, and sewing machines included. Students are welcome to bring their own machines and fabrics if they’d like to. If you need fabric requirements for shopping on your own, we’re happy to provide them.
