Algebra 2: Live Online Homeschool Class
At Luma Learn.
Meets Monday And Wednesday At 9:00 AM EST. 2 Hours/Week For 31 Weeks
Aug 24, 2020 To Apr 09, 2021
Grades: High School
The reality of learning algebra in high school is that you will never actually use it in real life unless you become an engineer of some kind. So why learn it at all? We learn algebra in order to develop problem solving skills that will benefit us later in life. These skills are priceless when adulting.
Algebra 2 can be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be boring. I promise all of my students that math will either be fun or they will have fun with me. I hope that you will choose to join me on this exciting journey.
The curriculum used for this course was created by Gina Wilson (All Things Algebra) and can be viewed here. All assignments, practice tests and tests are automatically graded. Every question is either short answer or multiple choice with full explanation for missed problems. Students will have unlimited attempts to complete homework assignments, 3 attempts to complete practice tests and 2 attempts to complete tests with the highest score being the final grade. This course will help to prepare students for the ACT as well as college math.
