The post-Civil War era of Reconstruction began with many social changes and great promises for African Americans, but was undone all too soon by traditional forces of white supremacy. Nevertheless, the three “Reconstruction Amendments”, the 13th, 14th, and 15th, fundamentally changed American society and planted the seeds for the fantastic advances in modern civil rights movement. Join us and special guest Dr. Ben Wynne for a discussion about these amendments, the times they were created, and how they helped shape our nation.
