Oakland Homeschool Day: Afterlife Art

Mausoleums, statues, and stained glass – oh my! We’ll look at Oakland as an outdoor museum of funerary art and architecture. Students will create art projects and step into the shoes of museum exhibit curators.

Experience a different side of Oakland Cemetery with Young Historians, a monthly program for homeschool students. Each two-hour program explores a different topic and includes interactive games, hands-on activities, and tours designed to engage and educate. Programs will be held inside the Visitors Center and outside on the grounds of Oakland Cemetery.

Spaces are limited to 35 students and adults.

Tickets: Students: $10 | Students with Oakland memberships: $8 | Adults: Free
