Math With Amy is offering interactive, live, virtual math classes for the 2020-21 school year. Each student will receive a Student Kit with all the printed materials (notes, homework, reviews, and extra credit) needed for the year. Through Zoom, students work with their peers in small groups, solving problems and discussing solutions. Amy hosts optional study sessions on different days of the week for students who need help outside of class. Math With Amy classes are managed through Canvas LMS (Learning Management System), which can facilitate parental oversight, if needed.

Pre-Algebra is a comprehensive math class to prepare middle-schoolers for Geometry and Algebra I and II. Topics covered include (but not limited to): Expressions, Equations and Inequalities, Ratios and Fractions, Percents and Probabilities, Graphing, and Word Problems. Class materials and instructions are consistent with TEKS standards. Homework is 1 to 2 hours per week.
