Writing Science Lab Reports: Titration (Tuesdays – Starts May 4)
The May experiment is an all time classic called Titration. Pick an acidic food (vinegar, lime juice, etc) to bring for the experiment. We will systematically react the acid away with baking soda, a common base. By making some simple measurements, we will be able to determine the pH of the acid. It’s relatively easy to get good results with this simple technique, which is why it’s well known among chemists and chemistry students.
