About Blue Heron Nature Preserve
Blue Heron Nature Preserve is a haven for Nature in an urban environment. With 30 acres of protected green space in north Atlanta, including trails, 2 creeks, wetlands, woodlands and native meadows, it’s easy to learn about ecology in the city. We encourage free exploration of nature and get our hands in the dirt and our feet off the trail for an up close look at nature around us.
