About Book From Tape Acting Studios

We provide online, virtual acting classes to actors age 6-96. Our curriculums for young actors focus on scene study, connecting with a partner, understanding a scene vs. memorizing a scene, getting our bodies prepared, activating imagination, self-taping, audition technique, and much more.

Founded by actor Jordan Woods-Robinson (The Walking Dead, Homeland, Nashville, Blue Man Group), Book From Tape is geared toward empowering actors with the tools they need to book directly from their audition tapes. The industry is currently running on self-tapes along. Theatre and TV auditions are both completely virtual and this will be the norm for a while.

We have adjusted our curriculums to be 100% virtual including weekly meetings on Zoom, pre-recorded physical and vocal warmup videos, and weekly assignments, for all ages.
