About Sora Schools

Sora Schools is a live, accredited, virtual high school designed to accelerate students towards their wildest dreams. Sora is a project-based virtual learning platform where students can collaborate with teachers to design the perfect curriculum based on their own unique dreams and aspirations.

At Sora, students work with our teachers to design and create hands-on projects based on what they’re interested in learning or studying–anything from computer science to 18th century Victorian fashion. Teachers help students to scope their projects and incorporate academic standards in Math, Science, English, History, and Foreign Languages.

We follow a learning model where our teachers serve to challenge students, structure individual curriculum plans, and facilitate their learning, not merely deliver lectures. Because we give the students autonomy and their own voice in their learning, they are more engaged and have better academic and future outcomes
