About Love of Learning Academy

Howdy everyone! I want to go briefly into Love of Learning Academy, and what we do! Space is limited, and we are enrolling for the Spring Semester! We are the fun support for families looking for alternative education options that are only accountable to the family! NO REQUIRED TESTING!
1. You choose the subject or subjects you want help with for your kids! I can make curriculum to suite your needs, or you can send any you have your own! Some examples include
a. Math – Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, or younger!
b. English – Emergent Literacy, Writing, Essays (Descriptive, Persuasive or Argumentative, Expository, and/or Narrative) Creative Writing, Mythology and MORE!
c. Science – Life, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Physics and Chemistry, Aquatic, Plant and Soil, and MORE!
d. Social Studies – World History, US History, World Geography, US Geography, Texas History, and MORE!
e. Electives – Sewing, Cooking, and MORE! Ask me!
2. You choose the number of days a week, Monday through Thursday, and the blocks of time you want to use!
a. Block A – 8:30 – 10:00
b. Block B – 10:30 – 12:00
c. Block C – 1:00 - 2:30
d. Monday & Tuesday 3:30 – 4:45
Based on these needs, I have a set rate of only $15 per block per week, and offer discounts with multiple blocks and siblings, so ask! I also offer hardship scholarships! I only allow for 6 students per block on average to keep things tidy and to ensure I can give proper support to all students, so book your spots while you can!

I have a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Minor in Math, carry multiple certifications, and 14 years in public school with this being my second year in doing this tutoring thing! If things aren’t working, we fix it as quickly as possible because I believe in you, me, and the student being a team all about loving learning! I prefer Inquiry or Project-Based models, with a bit of Charlotte Mason in there periodically, and though a few subjects may require a textbook, we mostly just use a composition notebook! I love to follow kids’ passions, so unschoolers are welcome! Let me know how I can help you!
