About Peacebuilders Camp
Peacebuilders Camp is an overnight summer camp for youth who want to change the world! Our campers learn how to harness their talents, skills, and interests to create positive change in their communities. Looking at issues of justice and injustice through a human rights lens, campers learn about one human right each day. Campers meet passionate adult and teen facilitators who are making a difference in areas like homelessness, immigrant justice, racial equality, fair trade, art accessibility, and climate change.
Our campers come from all sorts of different backgrounds, so they have much to teach each other, too. Campers make new friends while participating in discussions, games, service projects, sports, field trips, crafts, and recreation. Koinonia Farm near Americus, Georgia is our host, and Peacebuilders Camp is proud to build on Koinonia's long legacy of work for social justice and equality. Tuition is on a sliding scale, so all campers are welcome regardless of their family's income.
