About The Wren's Nest
The Wren’s Nest is a cultural center that celebrates the timeless legacy of the Brer Rabbit tales and promotes the art of storytelling in all of its contemporary forms. We are the historic home of author and journalist, Joel Chandler Harris, and the oldest historic house museum in Georgia, established in 1913. We have regular storytelling hours with professional storytellers as well as a spacious backyard and outdoor stage where we often have musical performances.
