A Guinness World Record collection, of "miniature Chairs," is displayed within a renovated historic house, constructed in 1850. The record for 3,000 miniature chairs, ( NOT doll furniture), was established in 2008. The museum opened in 2009 and has been featured in local, national, and international publications. Pending 2020 educational publication, My ABC"Chair" Book.

Three exhibit rooms and gift shop showcase colorful miniatures chairs with exciting background themes for all major holidays and other displays. There is a chair design category for EVERY letter of the alphabet, and includes functional chairs that are designed as lamps, clocks, cookie jars, salt/pepper shakers, teapots, inkwells, jewelry, bookends, and much more. Different displays throughout the museum provides multiple mini exhibits, including a claw foot bath tub "chair garden," 7 feet Christmas tree with chair ornaments, and jungle scene with twig chairs and safari animals. Colorful and unique shelf sitters adds charm and character to individual displays.

The historic museum building, located on Main Street, survived the 1864 Civil War battle in "Stone Mountain Village." A museum visit can provide a triple educational adventure with viewing a historic collection, a historic building, and a historic village, near Stone Mountain Park.
